Do I use Black or Green Tea?

Any FRUIT FLAVOR choices =  Green Tea base

All OTHER choices =  Black Tea base

MIXED choices (i.e. vanilla/cherry) = Black Tea base (or guests option)

How many flavor pumps do I use?

Total pumps of flavor should always = 6 or 9.

Weather using all Torani, or all Simple Syrup, or half one and half the other, the total is still 6 or 9, every time.

(6 pumps in a 16oz cup) (9 pumps in a 24 oz cup)

(16oz example) — If made with ALL TORANI:

  • – You will be adding SIX pumps of Torani flavoring to the cup.
  • (Always a 6 pump total in 16oz cup, and 9 in 24oz cup)

  • You will be adding SIX pumps of Sugar Water to the cup.

  1. Fill to 3/4 full with ice.
  2. Add sugar water and cream.
  3. Add appropriate (Green or Black) iced tea to 3/4 full and pour contents into shaker tin.
  4. Add Torani flavoring (and or) flavor powder and shake until smooth.
  5. Seal and serve with a big fat straw.

Actions for a BLENDED Bubble Tea)

  1. Fill cup full of ice.
  2. Add sugar water and cream.
  3. Add appropriate (Green or Black) iced tea to 3/4 full and pour contents into shaker tin.
  4. Add Torani flavoring (and or) flavor powder and blend until smooth.
  5. Seal and serve with a big fat straw.

Description of Process:

Bubble tea is a cold, sweet, tea beverage that is prepared iced (or) blended. It is served in a sealed container, with tapioca boba bubbles and a big fat straw.

Fill your glass with ice (3/4 for iced, and full for blended) and add sugar water pumps and cream to the bottom of the cup. Fill to 3/4 full with (the appropriate Green or Black) iced tea and pour into the shaker (for iced) or blender (for blended). Once in the new container,, add your flavor powder scoops. Shake or blend until the beverage is smooth and consistent. Pour it back into the original cup and add your boba. Seal and serve with a big fat bubble tea straw.

Now take a bow and feel excelent about yourself,, because these require a bunch of processes to make, and therefore you kick butt.

Tips/Troubleshooting:

- TASTE YOUR BUBBLE TEAS! Always taste the left over before serving to a guest. Just pour it into a 2oz sample cup and try it. This will help A LOT with two things:

  1. There is a lot that goes into a bubble tea, and you will be the first to notice if something is missing/wrong.
  2. Guests will often ask you, “What does flavor X taste like?” or, “Would flavor Y be good with flavor Z?” and you will gain a wealth of expert first hand knowledge by tasting your bubble teas every time you make one.

- Remember: No matter how many flavors a guest orders,, the total amount of flavor powder should not exceed the recommended dosage for the beverage. (1scoop for 16oz, and 1.5scoops for 24oz.)

- Bubble teas will taste MUCH better if kept to 2 flavor combinations. If a guest wishes to combine 900 flavors, they can, but let them know before hand that 2 is strongly recommended.

- Cute B-Tea fact: Bubble Tea first originated in Taiwan in the 1980’s, and is (as far as we know) one of the only beverages where it is actually desirable to have “floaties” in your beverage. +_+
